Toughened Glass

Toughened glass is thermally rigid as compared to a normal glass and can sustain high impact working pressures. It also comes with an added benefit of withstanding high temperatures with utmost safety while significantly reducing risk of injury, which makes it ideal for the use in Automobile Industries and Architectural Projects. The glass comes in a variety of thickness options, ranging from 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, and 19 mm. Do note the fact that thickness below 3 mm is not considered ‘toughened’ as per the British Standard.

Laminated Glass (EVA)

Laminated Glass is manufactured using two or more panes of glass and then is fused with ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA).This not only gives it the required strength but it also prevents is from shattering in case of breakage or impact. The broken fragments adhere to the PVB, thereby making it very safe from the risk of injury from falling glass. As it has double layers, it gives you noise control and offers more security over the normal glass.

Ceramic Printed Glass

Ceramic Printed Glass or Screened Glass as it is popularly known is used for decoration purposes for facades in House and borders on the windshields in Automobile Industries. The designer coating on the glass surface is done using special enamels before it is tempered fused. This makes the printing fuse completely on the surface, making it a monolithic construction. The resulting design look as good as the ceramic crockery while keeping all the characteristics of the glass intact making it perfect for architectural use. Designs and prints on the glass are safe against Weather, Detergents, and normal Day to Day Cleaning.

Heat Strengthened Glass

This type of glass is semi tempered, where it is thermally induced to increase its strength. For this, a surface compression of 6000 to 9000 psi is applied to the glass, making it twice as strong as annealed, or untreated, glass. This glass is for someone who doesn’t want to go for a fully tempered glass, but wants an option that is more strong and safe than a normal glass. Heat Strengthened glass also breaks into large fragments similar to annealed glass, in case of impact or collision, making it lot more a safer.
